“The Shiragatake, often called “”Tanba Fuji””, is a sight to behold and one of the top 100 mountains in Kansai. From the top, you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view. Mt. Shiragatake and Mr. Matsu (also called Mt. Kosenji), are linked by a ridge and you can hike both mountains around one big route. At the top of Mt. Matsuo are the ruins of Matsu and Kosenji (or Sakai) castles. It is said that Kosenji Castle was built by Ujiharu Sakai.”
