“This festival is held at Sumiyoshi Shrine in Kawara the last weekend of July. There are floats that play musicals they are walked through town where they stop at Sumiyoshi Shrine. These magnificent floats look like the yamahoko floats from the Gion Festival in Kyoto. 　“Uchikomibayashi” (a Japanese musical band) performs in front of the shrine is a characteristic of this festival.”
