“Buryo Nishio was born as headman of the Nishio Family at Tanba Taki-gun Oyamakami village in 1766. He mastered Haiku poetry along with the family business. The Nishio Family:s main house, tea room, and storehouse are nationally registered tangible cultural properties. Haiku documents and furniture are also kept as valuable cultural properties, which portray the atmosphere of the times.”
