“Sakon Shrine at Kusanokami is Ubusunagami (patron saint) of syoen and it is a Soja of seven villages. The enshrined god is revered as a god of swordsmanship, wadatsumi, mountains god, agriculture and Ōyamatsumi Shrine which gathered faith by a powerful family, military commanders nationwide from the medieval ages. The Autumn Festival is held every second Sunday in October. There are Seven floats and five Drum Mikoshi with wheels which are paraded through the village.”
